The art of etiquette and protocol is as important today as it has ever been — understanding and practicing good manners helps promote not only respect but also poise and confidence. And because children & young adults are especially impressionable, Birmingham Etiquette & Protocol Academy truly believes that these skills will benefit them for years to come. From gaining insight into both casual and formal social settings to acquiring proper table manners, we teach the art of etiquette. It’s about instilling in them a sense of self worth and strong self-esteem. It’s about helping them reach their full potential. Ultimately, this is about investing in the future of your child.

Our Goal is Simple: Reach and Teach Young Minds So That They Will Grow Beyond Expectations.

Birmingham Etiquette & Protocol Academy is the only etiquette consultancy of its kind in Birmingham. By offering a hands-on approach, our age-appropriate curriculum is taught in an entertaining and educational environment so that middle school and high school can transition from the often-awkward years of adolescence into a position of confidence. In turn, our students receive a foundation on which they can rely in future years and in any social setting.

Programs Offered

Six lessons are traditionally taught over a six-week period — one day per week for one hour after school. Alternately, students can participate in a shorter program where six one-hour lessons are taught over the course of a single week. If these times are incompatible with the student’s availability, we can work out a custom schedule. Please note: enrollment is capped at eight students to ensure individual attention and follow-through.

Children’s Program: 1st- 5th | Youth Culture Program: 6th-8th | Teen Etiquette 9th – 12th

Classes can be tailored for schools, churches, civic organizations, small businesses or individuals in preparation for debutante protocol, religious observations, bride/groom etiquette, etc.

Course Format

Courses are taught in a small group format to ensure individual attention and food is served at most sessions to provide hands-on experience and practice.
